Youth Sports & Fitness
Here at the JCC, we’ve got a number of sports activities, leagues, and lessons for elementary school to high school! With activities in Archery, Ultimate Frisbee, Gymnastics, Basketball, Tennis, Golf, and Karate, your child will learn sportsmanship, teamwork and athletic skills in the JCC environment. Plus, we also have Youth Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football Leagues.
Maitland
Archery
Develop hand-eye coordination in this weekly after school class for grades 2-6. Contact Youth Department.
Cheer & Tumble
Weekly after school class for grades 3-6 focusing on tumbling, cheer skills and group stunting. Contact Youth Department.
Fencing
Learn the principles of fencing and the rules of the sport. Participate in technique and skill development through physical strengthening and coordination drills. Instruction from beginner to competitive, plus club competition. Contact The Maestro.
Fitness for Kids – Kickboxing
Kickboxing, a blend of kicks and boxing punches, offers children ages 8-10 a full body workout. Like traditional martial arts, kickboxing incorporates different types of kicks on mannequins. Contact Youth Department.
Flag Football
Develop fundamental flag football skills, get lots of exercise, and be involved in a positive sports experience. Contact Eli.
Gymnastics
Weekly after school fundamentals class for grades K-6 with bars, beam, vault, and rings. Contact Youth Department.
Karate
Seido Karate lessons with 6th Degree Black Belt, Gil Alstein for ages 5+. Classes offered after school and during the summer. Contact Youth Department.
Personal Training
One-on-one nutrition and fitness coaching with one of our nurturing, fun personal trainers.
Rookie Basketball
Offering after school basketball class in J University for grades K-8 and summer camp. Contact Eli.
Select Basketball (JCC Rebels)
Competitive, organized basketball experience, with leagues for boys and girls ages 6-10, and boys ages 11-18. Summer, winter and fall seasons. Contact Marnie.
Soccer
League with age divisions from age 4 through grade 3. Weekly practices with Sunday games. Fall and spring seasons. Weekly indoor soccer class also available after school for grades K-6. Contact Eli.
Tennis
Offering after school tennis class in J University, private tennis lessons, tennis summer camp. Contact Eli
Yoga
Focus on body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination in weekly class for grades 1-4 after school. Contact Youth Department.
Southwest Orlando
Cheerleading
Weekly class to increase flexibility and strength while learning basic cheers, jumps, formations, and basic tumbling. Grades K-5. Contact Jen.
Golf
Your child will spend afternoons learning the stroke mechanics and help develop a love for the sport through innovative and fun learning. Grades K-6. Contact Jen.
Gymnastics
This class is designed to help develop motor, flexibility, balancing, and tumbling in relation to gymnastics skills. Grades K-5. Contact Jen.
Karate
Weekly self-defense class for boys and girls grades K-5. Contact Jen.
Soccer
Skills clinics and camps available through Orlando City Soccer Club, Orlando’s own professional soccer team. Contact Jen.
Basketball
The JCC league is a youth instructional and recreational basketball league for boys and girls grades k-9 practices take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays, depending on your division, and games are held on Sundays. The league includes: quality instruction, skills development, games with age appropriate basket heights, full uniforms, referees and awards.
