Group Exercise Schedule - Maitland

Classes are free to all JCC members or $10 for non-members, and no registration is required.  All levels are welcomed to every class.  A minimum of 8 participants on average is needed to continue a class on a regular basis. Please support your favorite class by attending regularly.  Babysitting available through our KidZone for children ages 6 months and up who are sitting up by themselves.

Bootcamp

This total conditioning class will enhance abdominal definition, balance, core strength and stability, and functional training. Push yourself to new heights in this challenging class all designed to help you reach your maximum fitness goals. All levels welcome!

A non-contact, action packed class with boxing and upper body combinations. It is adjustable to all levels and offers a complete workout.

FUNIQ

Mix fabulous music with an awesome all-in-one workout that combines cardio, strengthening, and flexibility into one, fun-filled, power packed hour and a half!  This unique program is a fusion of dance, kickboxing, total body sculpting, Pilates, bands, weights, and more.  You’ll burn hundreds of calories as you continuously move.

Instructor’s Choice

Mix it up in this action packed class where the instructor will present a variety of cardiovascular and resistant exercises utilizing equipment such as bands, balls, and free weights. Rinse and repeat for a total body conditioning class like no other. All levels welcome.


J Cycling

A unique, high-energy cycling workout that utilizes non-impact indoor stationary bikes, guided imagery, creative lighting and carefully selected music to inspire you through a workout like no other. J Cycling Express is 30 minutes and J Cycling Plus in 60 minutes.


Laughter Yoga

Combine breathing techniques of yoga with laughter exercises.  Learn more about Laughter Yoga at the JCC.

Lunch Crunch

Take 45 minutes of your lunch break to join this strength and endurance class focusing on different parts of the body using equipment such as bands, balls, free weights and adjustable platforms.

Mat Pilates

A class utilizing the principles and movements of Pilates. This class is a total mind and body workout with an emphasis on building strong abdominals and lower back to enhance strength, muscular symmetry, alignment, and flexibility. Beginners to Pilates welcome.

Power Yoga

A vigorous fitness based approach to Vinyasa-style and modeled off of Ashtanga style yoga.  This class is for people that are fit and enjoy exercising, and want a minimal amount of chanting and meditation with their yoga.

Combination of kickboxing, dance, and toning.  It is adjustable to all levels and offers a complete workout.

Silver Sneakers® MSROM

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a
ball are offered for resistance; and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.


Silver Sneakers® II: Cardio Circuit

Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.
