Every learning experience is designed to meet one or more of the child’s four areas of development; social and emotional, cognitive, physical and cultural. The lessons taught and reinforced at the JCC’s ECLC are carefully designed to give your child the tools needed to succeed in school. We offer full-time options beginning at 8 weeks through Pre-K, as well as part-time school beginning at 18 months.

The JCC Difference
When your child begins in our preschool, your entire family joins the JCC family. Both moms and dads make new friends through our fitness center and classes, sports leagues, arts programs, and family events. At the JCC, the entire family makes friends for life.

 Creating Well-Rounded Children
As part of our standard curriculum, the JCC is pleased to offer weekly in-class specialists in music, foreign language and Jewish culture. Children also are introduced to computers, and attend weekly physical education sessions in the JCC’s gymnasium. All activities are age-appropriate and tailored to the children’s stage of development. All children receive instruction in:
  • Mathematics
  • Language Arts
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Art
  • Music
  • Creative Drama
  • Life Skills
  • Foreign Language
You can also choose to enroll your child in extra enrichment classes, such as karate, gymnastics, art, and cooking. The JCC's Maitland Campus is proud to be house the celebrated Shayna's Village, an interactive child-exploration facility modeled like a village, which is home to creative arts classes for young children and their parents.

"After visiting countless other preschools, we couldn’t help but compare them to what we had seen and heard at the JCC. And so, we made the commitment to drive 45 minutes each way to be a part of this incredible center. Looking back, it was worth every mile.

We would travel to the ends of the earth to experience the JCC once again.”
